Building A Motorbike
23:36
Today I decided to start building a motorbike. The model I chose is similar to Indian Motorcycle somewhere from the 1920's I guess. In Bandung, this model is known as a 'roundtank' model which is in local tongue spelled 'ronteng'. It's true. This is a big decission for me as it will involved quite amount of money. I wouldn't let my family know about this.
The plan is to build first the frame and the shock and tires part. Later on will be continued with the tank, handle bars, and everything. As for the machine, I would take it from my old Honda Supra X motorbike. I chose this machine because 1.) I already have it. 2.) It is easier to maintain. 3.) I will use it as an everyday basis. So this machine will do. Oh, and it's easey to install too.
The one who will help me build this motorbike is Yaya. Or Kang Yaya (Kang means Brother in Sundanese Language). His reputation is very good and quite famous, as so many of his works are covered by national Indonesian automotive tabloids and magazines. He also knows some of my friends, so I feel safe to work with him.
The picture you see in this post is the model that we refer to. Of course I let Kang Yaya to give his ideas to apply to this motorbike, but after my approval.
So guys, wish me luck on this. I will be posting every progress we get on this motorbike OK?
